Then, place the rubber gasket between the push button and the top of the sink counter and tighten the plastic nut under the sink to ensure a watertight seal. Next, attach the air tubing between the push button and the control unit, making sure to push the tubing tightly onto the molded protrusions. After that, plug the control unit into a dedicated, grounded 120V AC outlet that is continuously powered. Finally, plug the disposer power cord into the control unit and press the push button to ensure that the countertop switch turns the disposer on and off.

Please note that you should press the switch button to turn the disposer on, and press it again to turn the disposer off. Additionally, the disposer may start when the disposer cord is plugged into the power module, so just push the Countertop Switch button once to stop the disposer.
